The Respect Index launched in 2026. Q3 2026 awards will be issued once sufficient confirmed report data is collected. Companies are evaluated automatically — no application required.

How companies qualify

Awards are issued quarterly based entirely on platform data — companies cannot apply, pay, or be nominated. To qualify a company must have a minimum of 10 confirmed reports in the quarter, a Ghost Score below 20, a Process Score above 75, and a Respect Rating average of 4.0 or higher. Companies with active WARN Act filings in the quarter are ineligible.

The badge

Award recipients receive a Respect Index certified badge they can display on their careers page, job postings, and LinkedIn. The badge links back to their verified profile on The Respect Index. Badges are valid for the quarter in which they are earned and must be re-earned each quarter.

Why this matters

Most employer awards are pay-to-play or based on self-reported surveys. The Respect Awards are different — every data point comes from verified candidates who experienced the hiring process firsthand. A Respect Award means real candidates said this company treated them with respect.
